As with other books by these authors, the concept is intriguing, but the writing is a little too juvenile for my liking (puts the young in young adult).  However, the idea of the story and the plot is strong enough for me to read the whole thing, just quickly.  A good twist about 1/3 of the way through got me more involved, and I ended up reading about 175 pages today to polish it off in 3 sittings.  The ending is a bit weak, but I suspect there is a sequel planned… ***
